What Is Tokyo E-Liquid?
Tokyo is a nic salt e-liquid. Instead of the freebase nicotine used in older e-liquids, nic salt uses a salt form of nicotine. In practice, people describe it as feeling smoother at higher strengths and delivering a quicker, more satisfying hit. That’s why salt nic is so common in small pod vapes.
Tokyo is sold in 30ml bottles, so you refill your pod yourself. It’s a good fit for people who want more flavour choice than a disposable gives them, or who want to refill the same pod device instead of buying a new device each time.

The Tokyo Series, Explained
This is the part most shops skip. Tokyo isn’t one flavour; it’s a family of series, each with its own style.
Golden Series
Tropical, fruit-forward blends. One listing describes a Mango Pitaya flavour, a ripe mango and dragon-fruit style mix.
Classic Series
The straightforward fruit-and-ice favourites. Listings include Iced Watermelon and Berry Watermelon.
Super Cool Series
The “extra ice” line. Listings include Pomegranate Ice, Burst Watermelon and Watermelon Bubblegum with a strong cooling finish. If you like a very icy exhale, start here.
Crazy Fruit Series
Bolder mixed-fruit combinations, such as Exotic Passion and Pineapple Passionfruit Ice.
Shisha Series
Flavours inspired by shisha tastes, such as a watermelon shisha style. A good pick if you’re used to shisha flavours.
Bun and Wafer Series
Sweet, dessert-style blends. Listings include Vanilla Wafer and Chocolate Creamy Wafer.
(Availability changes. Only the series and flavours listed on our site are in stock.)
Flavour Notes
[YOUR HANDS-ON NOTES] Add your own tasting notes here for each flavour you stock: sweetness, how strong the ice is, how true the fruit tastes, and the aftertaste. Short, honest notes beat long marketing copy.
- Mango and tropical flavours (Mango Pitaya, Exotic Passion) are described as sweet and fruity, with ripe fruit as the main note.
- Watermelon flavours (Iced Watermelon, Berry Watermelon, Burst Watermelon) are among the most common in the range, in both light-ice and extra-ice versions.
- Ice flavours (Pomegranate Ice, Peach Guava Ice, Pineapple Passionfruit Ice) add a cooling finish. Super Cool is the strongest chill.
- Dessert flavours (Vanilla Wafer, Chocolate Creamy Wafer) are the sweetest and richest.
Which Strength Should You Choose: 20mg, 30mg or 50mg?
| Strength | Who it suits |
|---|---|
| 20mg | Lighter or social smokers, and anyone who wants a gentler hit |
| 30mg | A balanced, everyday strength for many adult smokers |
| 50mg | Heavier smokers who want a strong, satisfying hit |
Our advice: choose lower rather than higher. Salt nic at 50mg is strong, and too much nicotine can cause dizziness, nausea and headaches. If you ever feel that way, stop and take a break. If you’re switching from cigarettes and aren’t sure, message us before you order.
What We Like (Pros)
- A big range. Several series with fruit, ice, shisha-style and dessert options.
- Three strengths. You can pick the one that suits you.
- Salt nic format. Designed to feel smooth at higher strengths.
- 30ml bottle. Convenient to carry and easy to refill from.
- Good for pod users. Works with the small refillable pod devices many people already own.
What to Watch Out For (Cons)
- Not for every device. Salt nic isn’t recommended for high-power sub-ohm tanks.
- High nicotine. 30mg and 50mg are strong. Not for beginners or non-smokers.
- Availability varies. Not every series, flavour or strength is always in stock.
- You need a refillable pod device. It isn’t a ready-to-use disposable.
- Taste is personal. Sweetness and ice level can feel different to different people, so start with one bottle before you stock up.
Who Is Tokyo E-Liquid Best For?
A good fit if you:
- are an adult smoker who already uses a refillable pod device
- like fruity, icy or shisha-style flavours
- want a smoother feel at higher nicotine strengths
- want to try different flavours without buying a new device each time
Probably not for you if you:
- have never smoked or vaped
- use a high-power sub-ohm device
- are under 21
- are pregnant or have a health condition that nicotine could affect (talk to a doctor)
How to Use Tokyo E-Liquid
- Switch your pod device off.
- Open the bottle and fill the pod up to the max line. Don’t overfill.
- Let the pod sit for a few minutes so the coil can soak.
- Vape as normal, and wipe away any spills.
Store the bottle in a cool place away from sunlight. Never leave it in a hot car. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Tokyo E-Liquid vs Disposable Vapes: Which Is Better?
| Tokyo e-liquid | Disposable vape | |
|---|---|---|
| Needs a device | Yes, a refillable pod | No |
| Flavour choice | Very wide | Limited per device |
| Setup | Fill the pod yourself | Ready to use |
| Best for | People who want to customise | People who want zero fuss |
If you want simple, a disposable is easier. If you want more flavour choice and flexibility, e-liquid is the better route.

Our Verdict
Tokyo e-liquid is a solid choice for adult smokers who already use a refillable pod device and want a wide choice of fruit, ice and dessert flavours in a smooth salt-nic format. The range of series and three strengths make it easy to find something that fits. The main things to keep in mind are the high nicotine levels, the need for a compatible low-power device, and that flavour is a matter of taste.
Our tip: pick one flavour from the series that sounds closest to your taste, start with the lowest strength that satisfies you, and go from there.
